What should I do to book my consignment?

To book a consignment you simply make a telephone call to the branch nearest to you. To find out the branch nearest to you, either go to the link “Branch Network”. From that branch TCI XPS person will come to collect the material from you, book that and will send that to the destination where you wanted, for the door-step delivery of the same. For online booking you may go to the page “Booking”.

What is a Docket?

A Docket is an authorized document for transfer of goods. It has a unique number, which identifies it. Whenever you send any material from one place to another, you book that and transfer that via a paper, which carries information like source, destination, weight of material, mode of transportation etc., that paper is known as a “Docket”. Docket is also known as “Bilti” in other industries, but it is non-negotiable instrument. In some cases it is also known as AWB (Air Way Bill) or DWB (Docket Way Bill).
 

 
What is BA?

BA is the term used for Business Associate. A Business Associate (BA) is a person who does the booking and delivery of your consignment at your door step. He is the authorized person for such work.

 

 
What are the charges for your service?

TCI XPS has two rate structures a) Surface, b) Air. According to your need you may choose any of these. You may also choose from value added service offered by TCI XPS. For more details go to Tariff-Chart.

 

 
What are FOD,COD,TBB and PAID?

FOD :- Freight On Delivery (When you pay the freight on the time of delivery)
COD :- Collection On Delivery (We collect the payment for your goods i.e. their cost from the consignee).
TBB :- To Be Billed (Credit Billing for contractual parties)
PAID :- Counter payment for consignment booking
 
 
 
What are Diplomat Charges?

Diplomat charges are the additional charges, which TCI XPS charges for non TCI XPS destinations, which are more than 20 Kms. away from TCI XPS branches.
 
 
How do i book for Air Cargo?

For a speedy delivery, you can book your consignment by Air Cargo. The booking system for air delivery is same as surface. You simply need to mention about the mode by which you want to send your material.
 
 
How to register a complaint?

You can register your complaints to the controlling managers of your location (your booking station/ delivery station). You may register your complaint on-line, via Feed-back. For more details refer to Contact Us Page.
 
 
 
I don't know where my consignment is lying (or status of the same)?

If you want to know about your consignment then either you can track it by Netrak or you may contact nearest TCI XPS branch to you. Even if you don’t get exact information then you may contact our Regional Offices.
